Assoc-Prof. Dr Terje Loogus

Terje Loogus is Associate Professor of Translation Studies and Head of the Department of Translation and Interpreting Studies at the University of Tartu, Estonia. She has a background in German Studies at the University of Tartu, PhD with a dissertation on culture and translation at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, Germany. Her main research interests include culture-specific translation problems, translation didactics, imagology and translation, sociology of translation.
