Cornelia Linde studied medieval and classical Latin philology at the universities of Göttingen, Bologna, and Freiburg im Breisgau. She then obtained an MA in ‘Cultural and Intellectual History, 1300-1650’ followed by her PhD at the Warburg Institute, University of London. Subsequently, she held a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Department of History at University College London, before moving on to the German Historical Institute London as a research fellow. Since 2020 she holds the professorship of Medieval History at the University of Greifswald. Her research interests include the history of the Dominican Order; the Latin Bible; the history of philology; and Italian humanism.
