Marie-L. Westfeld

Marie is currently studying towards a Master’s degree in Cultural Studies and Literary Studies with a focus on Scandinavia. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in World Literature from the University of Göttingen, Marie is naturally interested in all literature-related things, but especially in the linking of queer studies and literary studies, multilingualism and magical realism in literature and everything else that transcends or obliterates borders. After joining the IRTG “Baltic Peripeties” as a research student in April 2023, Marie currently supports Natalia Iost’s PhD project regarding the influence of Russian foreign policy on security narratives and security structures in the Baltic States.
