Ingvild Folkvord is a researcher of modern German and Norwegian literature and literary and cultural theory. With a background in German studies, research on canonized authors such as Ingeborg Bachmann and Bertolt Brecht, Ernst Cassirer’s cultural theory and contemporary literature on terror she has joined the IRTG “Baltic Peripeties” as a senior researcher. In her current research she investigates law and literature related to terror attacks in different European contexts and the formation of collective identities in the aftermath of crises.
